The department has facilities for consultation, a small theatre for procedures and a cubicle for supervised ultraviolet therapy.

The outpatient department is open to patients everyday 6 days a week.
A consultant is available for consultancy by prior appointment. Consultants are also available for any in-patient referrals.
Dermatology patients can be admitted as in-patients only by consultants of the department of dermatology.

General dermatology is mainstay of most dermatological consultations. Pediatric dermatology and Geriatric dermatology are a part of routine day to day practise.
All the consultants have special interest in diseases related to internal medicine.
Diseases associated with hematological problems are seen in joint consultation with the Hematologist.Similarly CRF(Chronic Renal Failure) and its related skin manifestations are jointly handled with the Nephrologist.
