Physiotherapy plays a vital role in the rehabilitation of patients. Physiotherapy department of Paalana Institute of Medical Sciences was started in 2004. It is well equipped with all the necessary electrotherapeutic and exercise therapy instruments. There are three qualified and experienced full time physiotherapists and an ANM as assistant.
The scope of physiotherapy is vast and treatment is provided to patients coming under Orthopaedic, Neurologic, Neurosurgery, Paediatric and General Medicine Departments.
The OP Department works on all weekdays. During the past 6 years we have treated around 20,000 patients.
Our aim is to provide a holistic treatment to all our patients and instill in them the confidence to lead a normal lifestyle.
